We are Ashleigh and Luke Holt. Welcome to our blog, Traveling the British Isles with Dogs. This no-filter, somewhat chronological space is filled with stories and misadventures of our travels across the beautiful British Isles, with our kids and two dogs, Badger and Fig, leading the way. Expect a mix of travel tips, dog-friendly finds, and musings about life with a big, bustling family.

We’re that cliche “ordinary family on an extraordinary journey,” if one can say one’s life is extraordinary while juggling three kids and two energetic dogs. Basically, we travel a lot. Usually together, too, so we get to experience every moment, compromises and all.
